The Forgotten Feminists

The Beginning

Once upon a time, there was a feminist who tried to fit it at some of the feminist blogs and websites. Sadly, she did not. Oh, she believed that women and men should be treated equally. That wasn’t the problem. The problem was that this feminist, we’ll call her Emma Steinfeld, is childfree and doesn’t believe that pregnant women and women with children should be elevated to a status above men and childfree women. And, therefore, she felt completely out of place amongst the blog and websites that were frequented, for the most part, by mothers and pregnant women.

As a result, Ms. Steinfeld went to the internet forum, We Kid You Not, where she had made some childfree friends in the past, and asked if any of them had the same problem. A conversation ensued and “dune67″ suggested a blog be created by and for us…The Forgotten Feminists.

This is that blog. Welcome.
